New Home Sales Increased In Istanbul

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has published housing sales statistics for January 2025. According to these statistics, 112,173 houses were sold across Turkey in January.

Nationwide housing sales in January increased by 39.7% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 112,173. The provinces with the highest number of housing sales were Istanbul with 18,912, Ankara with 10,158, and İzmir with 6,634.

Increased Demand for New Housing

According to the TÜİK data, the number of first-hand housing sales across Turkey also increased by 29.8% in January compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 32,785. The share of first-hand housing sales in total housing sales was 29.2%. This situation has drawn attention to new housing projects in Istanbul.

The project will consist of 177 new-generation terraced villas on a 24,000 m2 area. Offering various options from 2+1 to 4+1, the project is planned to be delivered to its owners in December 2026. Afra Park's social amenities include playgrounds and sports areas, adult and children's swimming pools, a multi-purpose sports field, outdoor chess and table tennis areas, and gazebos.
