Istanbul Once Again Leads in Housing Sales

İçindekiler

Istanbul was once again the city with the highest number of housing sales. In May 2025, a total of 22,103 housing units were sold in Istanbul. It was followed by Ankara with 11,975 sales and Izmir with 7,817 sales. These figures show that major cities continue to attract both investors and buyers in the real estate market, and especially that Istanbul maintains its dominance as the leading city in the sector.

One of the most remarkable areas contributing to this growth is Bahçeşehir in Istanbul. With its large land reserves, new transportation projects, and nature-oriented villa concepts, Bahçeşehir has become one of the most talked-about locations in recent years. One of the brands implementing projects in this region is Reportage Türkiye.

The company stands out in both lifestyle and investment aspects with its row villa projects, Afra Park and Sylvana Istanbul, developed in Bahçeşehir. These projects, which offer high potential for capital appreciation to investors, are being built with a unique concept that opens the doors to modern living.

Housing Sales Increased by 25.4% in January–May: Peak of the 5 Months

In the first five months of 2025, a total of 584,170 housing units were sold across Turkey. This figure represents a 25.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Thus, housing sales reached their peak in the first five months of the year.
This strong performance highlights the continued confidence in the real estate sector and its steady, sustainable growth.

These sales figures, obtained from TÜİK data, once again demonstrate that real estate remains one of the most reliable investment tools. The increasing demand in major cities like Istanbul, and especially in rapidly appreciating areas such as Bahçeşehir, clearly shows that housing is seen not only as a place to live but also as a solid long-term investment.

Real estate will continue to be a safe haven for both investors and buyers, today and in the future.
